LVFD Inc. holds two chicken barbecues, Spring and Fall each year, as part of its fundraising activities.
The chicken is grilled on a coal-fired pit with the departments signature BBQ sauce. Dinners are offered in an adult and child portion to accommodate everyone. The adult portion consists of a half chicken and the child portion is a quarter chicken. All dinners are served with Ole Zim’s Wagon Shed potato salad, roll and butter, pickles, celery, carrots, ice cream and a drink. 100% of the proceeds are used by the LVFD Inc. to purchase new tools, equipment and support our community outreach program.
